  Edit Bookable Objects

Bookable Objects are objects that can be booked. This could be a hotel room, a holiday cottage or a hall.

This section of the control panel will allow you to create new bookable objects. This is usually the first step to setting up your booking form.

To add a bookable object, you are required to enter the details into the last row (the empty text boxes). If you have not yet added any objects then this will be the only visible row. Below is a summary of each of the fields:

Name - This is your object's name. This could be a cottage's name if you are booking a holiday home. The name will identify each individual object and will be displayed to the customer throughout your booking form.

Description - This is typically a short description of a few words, describing the object. This could be 2 Bedrooms, 1 Bathroom in the case of a property. This description will be displayed in the customer's confirmation email after they have completed the booking process.

Units - This is the number of times an object can be booked at once. For example, a hotel may have 25 of the same type of room. This would allow up to 25 bookings to be received for a certain room on a certain date. Often this value would be 1 if there is only a single object that can be booked.

Once these fields have been entered, submit the form and the new object will instantly be displayed. The Delete option will then become available, which when checked will delete the object and all associated rates.
