This guide is for those who have not used yourbooking before - it will give you an overview of how to set up a new booking form from scratch.
Once you have registered with us for a new account, log into your control panel using the details you were provided in your account creation confirmation email. Your control panel allows you to customise many aspects of your booking form instantly. Any changes made through this control panel will instantly appear on your booking form.
- The first step in creating your booking form is to add at least one Bookable Object (click Edit Bookable Objects in your control panel). This is an object which may be booked online (e.g. a hotel room or a holiday home). For information how to create bookable objects, click here.
- Once you have added a bookable object, you must now set its Rate Calculation Method (click Rate Calculation Method in your control panel). For information how to set the Rate Calculation Method, click here.
- Now that you have set the Rate Calculation Method, you may begin entering rates (click Enter Rates in your control panel). Make sure you have set the Rate Calculation Method on all objects before you start entering rates. For a guide on how to enter rates for your objects, please click here.
- Next, setup the currency that your rates are displayed in (click Currency in your control panel). For a guide on how to change your currency, click here
At this point, you can check your booking form by clicking on the "Site Integration" option in your control panel. You should be able to search for availability on each of the objects and prices should be calculated (providing you have entered rates which cover the dates selected).
If you have already received bookings offline, you may wish to mark dates which have already been booked as unavailable in your online booking form. To do this, you can use the Add a Booking feature, which allows you to add bookings quickly and easily.
Now that the booking form has been setup, you can add extra features such as Currency Conversion, change your Form Interface or edit the Look & Feel of your form.
